Benefits of Working with a Health and Wellness Coach

Updated: Jul 18, 2020

The number of people developing chronic health problems is rapidly increasing. Treating the symptoms don’t usually work, and people must get to the root of the problem to regain their healthy selves back. As you wake up to the reality that your current lifestyle does not support your health, there is little to no information on where to start on the healing journey. And I don’t blame you!

Information in the modern health world is, at best, contradicting and confusing. What worked for someone else may not work for you, even if you have the same symptoms. Hours scouring the internet may lead to information overload, leading to even more confusion than you had when you started. So, what should you do or where should you begin to realise your full health again?

The key is to work with a health and wellness coach. But what does a health coach do and how can they help you?

What is a health coach?

A health coach is a wellness authority and supportive mentor who helps you feel your best by offering advice on individualised lifestyle and diet changes to meet your unique requirements and health goals. Often, a remote health coach provides their services in a group coaching setting and private coaching with 1-on-1 programs. The coach focuses on your bio-individuality, which means that we are all different with unique emotional, lifestyle, dietary, and physical needs.

This means there is no one-size-fits-all canvas solution to wellness and health. Instead, a vegan health coach works with you to discover how to fuel your body, so you become the happiest, healthiest version of yourself through a holistic approach.

At the core of my guide called The Plant-Based Transformation Blueprint, there are three essential elements that may be holding you back from achieving your health and weight loss goals, which include:

  • Not having a proven plan that works

  • Self-limiting thoughts and beliefs

  • Lack of coaching and accountability

Now that you know what a health and wellness coach is, what are the benefits of working with one?
